Young Ag

West Virginia’s Agriculture future lies firmly in the hands of young farmers and producers across the state. Whether children are involved in FFA, 4-H, or learning about agriculture in the classroom and lunchroom, they’re receiving encouragement to think about farming as more than just a career of the past. There’s a bright future in farming here in West Virginia and one that continues to grow. This website has links to FFA, 4-H, and Agriculture in the Classroom, as well as the FUNdamental Farmer, where youngsters can color, solve puzzles and learn new facts about the industry. It just might spark their interest in a career in agriculture!
